UPDATE!! Check out my service puppy and Nala on KSDK's website! Jennifer Blome did a cute piece Tues Sept 2nd on raising dogs featuring my 2 pups and me, as well as a client that currently is using a service dog... Enjoy!

I have been a puppy raiser for them for a year now and it's been an amazing experience!! They are looking to find 30 more families to raise puppies for them. They typically use either labs or goldens that are often donated to the agency through local, reputable breeders. I currently have a black lab that is 13 months... she's doing great in her training (much better than my St. Bernard that is currently at Caseys for boot camp) and will hopefully be ready to turn in to the agency for advanced training in January. I can't wait to see what cute puppy I get next!!
Channel 5 recently did a story on the puppy raiser program through Support Dogs... check it out on www.ksdk.com
